One-Line Bio
I'm a success coach, author, speaker, and cognitive-behavioral psychologist currently living in Philly.
Biography
Most people know me as a book author and success coach to entrepreneurs and other peak performers.
I love working with the media and am often seen in The New York Times, SELF, and various TV and radio programs. Formerly on clinical facutly at the University of Pennsylvania's renowned Center for Treatment and Study of Anxiety, I've learned how to help people manage fear, stress, and anxiety from the best and brightest experts in the world.
Now I spend my time running my businesses, and I'm in love with entrepreneurship. I've been an entrepreneur since birth (how could I be any different when I was raised by a father who's had his own businesses since age 17 and never a "real" job, and a creative, supportive, and artistic mom?). I began my first real venture at age 8, a haunted house in my parents' basement. I also created my first book at this time, a book of drawings of monsters that I sold for $2.
I've always been fascinated by why some people pursue their goals and dreams, and what holds us back from going after what we really want in life and work.
I'm a bit of a Renaissance-type with all kinds of interests, and I love the creative application of ideas from psychology, philosophy, business leadership and entrepreneurship, the arts, and the sciences to real-world success.
